eOrganic History and Vision

eOrganic was envisioned by a group of researchers and Extension agents who wanted to start an Organic Agriculture research and outreach community. They convened a Visioning Meeting in February, 2007. Forty five people from across the US and representing Land Grant Universities, ATTRA, New Farm, and certifiers, met to create the eOrganic vision.  Read about the eOrganic Vision:

eOrganic received a grant from the CSREES Integrated Organic Program in September, 2007. Read the proposal:

In March 2009, eOrganic applied for a CSREES OREI grant. This grant was successfully developed using the eOrganic workspace with a OREI Proposal Group.

eOrganic held a re-visioning meeting, November 4-6, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. The agenda and notes from that meeting are available »
