Culinary Breeding Network Variety Showcase
Join CIOA's Phil Simon, Micaela Colley, and Laurie McKenzie for the 2017 Variety Showcase in Portland, Oregon. We're partnering with Chef Maya Lovelace of Mae to showcase carrots from the project. Hosted by the Culinary Breeding Network, the event provides attendees the unique experience to taste new and in-development vegetable and grain cultivars, share opinions, and break downs the walls between eaters and breeders. This interactive mixer to build community and increase collaboration between plant breeders, farmers, and eaters is not to be missed!
